It was business as usual for the Royal Family as an upbeat Prince and Princess of Wales and King Charles stepped out for their first public engagements since Prince Harry’s memoir was released.
Prince William and the Princess of Wales looked relaxed as they smiled and waved on arrival to officially open the new Royal Liverpool University Hospital.
There was no response when someone shouted as the couple arrived: “Were you hurt by the comments in Harry’s book sir?”
It came as King Charles appeared in good spirits as he chuckled and joked with members of the public in Scotland on Thursday morning.
The Royal Family are carrying on as normal this week having met the blitz of broadsides from the Duke of Sussex in Spare with a wall of silence.
