South China Morning Post published this video item, entitled “Police use water cannon on Thai protesters as they demand prime minister’s resignation” – below is their description.
Anti-government protesters have clashed with security forces a day after a young protester was left in coma after being shot in the head during an earlier demonstration. The group gathered outside Thailand’s national police headquarters on August 17, 2021, to call for an end to the use of excessive force by riot police and to demand that Prime Minister Prayuth Chan-ocha resign over his mishandling of the coronavirus crisis.
