Palestinians in West Bank protest US Blinken’s Ramallah visit

Global News published this video item, entitled “Palestinians in West Bank protest US Blinken’s Ramallah visit” – below is their description.

U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken arrived in Ramallah on Wednesday and met with Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas. Palestinians in Ramallah, West Bank took to the streets to protest the visit, citing that the U.S. allies itself with the “criminal Zionist occupation.”

Palestinians in downtown Ramallah demonstrated against the visit and chanted against America and Blinken, but they were pushed back from reaching Abbas’ office where the meeting took place.

Blinken crossed Israeli checkpoints to reach the de facto Palestinian capital Ramallah, according to pool reporters who travelled with the U.S. top diplomat.
