The UN rights chief Volker Türk said on October 10 that all parties involved in the Palestine-Israel conflict must stop targeting civilians, as the death toll on both sides climbed to over 2,000, including 921 Palestinians and at least 1,200 Israelis. The World Health Organization (WHO) said medical supplies it pre-positioned in seven hospitals in Gaza have already been used up and confirmed 13 attacks on health institutions there.
