Oregon wildfires: Man cycles through burning town as fires consume city of Talent

Global News published this video item, entitled “Oregon wildfires: Man cycles through burning town as fires consume city of Talent” – below is their description.

Oregon is now under a state of emergency, and fires are burning over 1,300 square kilometres amid extremely hot and windy weather that is only making the problem worse, according to emergency officials. Gov. Kate Brown says at least five towns have been destroyed, none of the fires are contained and there is no weather relief in the forecast. “This could be the greatest loss of human lives and property due to wildfire in our state’s history,” she said Wednesday. This video, filmed by Bow Shaban DeBey mostly from his bicycle, shows fire consuming structures in Talent, Oregon. The footage later shows buildings reduced to ash and rubble as he surveys the damage in daylight on Wednesday.
