NSW fires blanket Canberra in thick smoke, leading to orange skies and poor air quality | ABC News

Smoke from the bushfires is still causing havoc in Canberra.

Air quality remains well beyond levels considered hazardous.

It’s forced flights to be cancelled, national institutions to shut their doors, and it’s not over.

Many childcare and holiday programs will be unavailable tomorrow and the Canberra Centre will be closed.
