Jude Bellingham has been fined £34,000 for his controversial comments about referee Felix Zwayer (right) but escaped a ban. Angered by two contentious penalty decisions that went against Borussia Dortmund in Saturday’s top-of-the-table Bundesliga clash with Bayern Munich, Bellingham referenced Zwayer’s involvement in a match-fixing scandal during a post-match interview. Bellingham will be free to play in Dortmund’s game at Bochum on Saturday after the club and player accepted the punishment handed down by the German FA on Tuesday.
