Marcus Rashford launches taskforce for child food poverty

Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford unveils a ‘child food poverty taskforce’ he has formed with companies including Aldi, Tesco, Deliveroo and Kellogg’s and called for long-lasting change to end child food poverty in a letter to MPs.

The announcement, in an interview with the BBC, followed the footballer’s activism, which helped force a government U-turn on summer holiday school meal vouchers.
