Authorities in China’s Wuhan hold a press conference on the city’s latest efforts in flood control as heavy downpours continue to lash vast stretches of the country. On Sunday, China’s Ministry of Water Resources lifted the emergency response for flood control from Level III to Level II, the second-highest in the response system. The downpours is forecast to continue in large parts of eastern and central China.
