The Senate Homeland Security Permanent Subcommittee on Investigation holds a hearing about the PGA-LIV Golf deal, the future of golf, and Saudi Arabia’s Influence in the United States on Tuesday.
Witnesses testifying include Ron Price, COO of the PGA Tour and Jimmy Dunne, board member of the PGA Tour.
The committee also requested testimony from Greg Norman, CEO of LIV Golf, and Yasir al-Rumayyan, who as Governor of the Public Investment Fund will oversee Saudi Arabia’s financial investments in the new golf entity and serve as the chairman of its board, but they declined the request citing scheduling conflicts.
