The State Council Information Office of China holds a press conference on the completion and commissioning of the BeiDou Navigation Satellite System (BDS-3). China’s BeiDou navigation project was initiated in 1994. The launch of the last BDS-3 constellation satellite from Xichang Satellite Launch Center in southwest China’s Sichuan Province marks China’s completion of its self-developed BeiDou satellite constellation.
