All but nine African countries have now had deliveries from Covax, the international scheme designed to achieve an equitable distribution of Covid vaccines around the world.
Some have started rolling them out, but in Liberia they are hesitating, concerned about the controversies over AstraZeneca and about whether their population will agree to be jabbed.
And now they have another problem, polio, which has begun re-emerging after vaccination programmes for that virus were cancelled because of Covid. We are in Monrovia, where they re-started their polio campaign today.
