Liberal Democrat leader Sir Ed Davey has told Sky News he suspects there will be “nothing to see” over the allegations about the circumstances of Sue Gray’s switch to Labour.
It comes as an “update” is expected from the Cabinet Office “into the circumstances leading to the resignation of a senior civil servant”.
Sir Ed added Ms Gray has been a “civil servant of the highest integrity and professionalism.”
