British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak has called for Britain’s foreign policy approach to China to “evolve” and that the “golden era” between the two countries was over. During his remarks at the annual Lord Mayor’s banquet in London on November 28, 2022, Sunak also said China posed a “systemic challenge to our values and interests”.
