GB News presenter Laurence Fox says he is going to be “sacked tomorrow” as he apologised for widely-condemned on-air comments about a female journalist.

Mr Fox issued a 15-minute statement on X, formerly known as Twitter, after previously saying he would not apologise for making derogatory comments to fellow presenter Dan Wootton about Ava Evans.

Both men have been suspended by the broadcaster and Ofcom is investigating.
