The Telegraph published this video item, entitled “Khan Younis rocked by Israeli missile strike after temporary truce ends” – below is their description.
Explosions rocked Khan Younis in the Gaza Strip on Saturday, as the southern city of the war-ravaged enclave has been bearing the brunt of the intensified Israeli bombardment after a fragile truce between Israel and Hamas ended Friday.
The heavy bombardment, which took place in Hamad on the outskirts of Khan Younis, has left several residential buildings severely damaged and many people who sought safety in the city displaced again.
The Israeli army is trying to expand its ground incursion in Khan Younis amid intense battles with Hamas militants in the area on Saturday, a Palestinian security source said. The clashes followed intensified Israeli air and artillery attacks on the outskirts of Khan Younis Friday night, according to the source.
