  1. At over 70 years have had to fight my entire life against male exclusions. An equal wage, admission to all men’s clubs, being able to speak at meetings, not to be regarded as a sex object, etc. My grandmother fought for women to be allowed to vote. Now, all a man has to do is say he is a woman, even with a penis, to roll back the rights of women to even before my grandmother’s time. Now women may not refer to themselves as mothers. It is the final blow for women abused and sidelined for centuries to have these men take away even our rights to motherhood and to being women.

    • This is one of the issues nobody dare mention. Now all of a sudden men can be women, there’s lots more rights coming too! Of course… It’s a bit of a form of mysogeny. Further, a lot of it is basically about dressing like a woman or “feeling like” a woman – without actually having to endure the difficulties incumbent in being a woman (like periods, childbirth, breastfeeding, etc). Before people knee jerk on this, no, I’m not saying women who cannot bear children are not women, but what I AM saying is that women who were born as women have endured a lot for many generations… it feels a bit typical that it’s only when parity is becoming close that men come along and take it away, by deciding they’d like to become women, all of a sudden, historically speaking.
