A remote village in the northern part of Indian-administered Kashmir has set up an open-air community school to help pupils catch up on lessons missed because of the coronavirus pandemic. Village teachers in the Kupwara district now teach classes outdoors to help students who have limited access to the internet, leaving them unable to join virtual courses online.
