John Bercow, the former Speaker of the House of Commons, told Sky News’s Trevor Phillips that his defection to Labour was not because his political values no longer align with the Conservatives personal issues and he considered Boris Johnson a ‘lousy governor’. ‘The only credible vehicle for removal of this government is the election of a Labour government,’ Bercow said.
