The Chinese Foreign Ministry has said that Japan should save the nuclear-contaminated wastewater from the crippled Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Plant for those who think it’s safe to drink or swim in. It criticized the International Atomic Energy Agency for rushing out a report saying that the contaminated wastewater was safe for drinking or swimming.
The International Atomic Energy Agency is an international organization that seeks to promote the peaceful use of nuclear energy, and to inhibit its use for any military purpose, including nuclear weapons. The IAEA was established as an autonomous organisation on 29 July 1957.
