An Israeli air strike on Damascus on Saturday killed four members of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, including a senior figure in its information unit, according to reports.
Tehran media outlets reported that two high-ranking Iranian military advisers were killed in the blast.
The strike, using precision-guided missiles, flattened a multi-storey building in the neighbourhood of Mazzeh in the Syrian capital, a Syrian security source told Reuters.
