193 Members of the United Nations have signed an agreement to fight drug-resistant bacteria.
For only the fourth time in its 70 year history, the United Nations is holding a special meeting devoted to a health crisis.
It’s discussing the rise of drug-resistant bacteria and how to treat them.
Doctors and scientists have long warned about the problem, which is being propelled by the way antibiotics are misused.
And that’s threatening the lives of millions of people around the world – along with the global economic output.
So, what can be done to stop the threat of drug-resistant bacteria?
