A new spike in confirmed COVID-19 infections hit South Korea. Most of the cases were traced to clubs in Seoul’s Itaewon district, after a 29-year-old man who did the rounds there in early May tested positive. Health authorities said Tuesday that infections linked to the area exceeded a hundred nationwide.The country has again raised its guard against a new outbreak, advising nightclubs and bars to close temporarily.
