The Indonesian capital Jakarta was named the most polluted city in the world by Swiss air quality company IGAir. Indonesia is a rapidly developing country with a large industrial industry. Car emissions, industrial smoke as well as fumes from coal-powered plants all contribute to Jakarta’s poor air quality. Residents are doing what they can to reduce risks to their health.
