The rate of coronavirus infection in India is now outpacing Brazil and the United States, with the country breaking a daily global record on Sunday with 78,000 cases. Despite the accelerating spread, India’s leaders continue to try and open up the country. Worksites are now struggling to regain their workers after the nationwide lockdown ended, crippling efforts to get the country’s ailing economy moving again.
