One of Bollywood’s biggest and most respected stars Dilip Kumar has passed away, aged 98.

He was one of the three big names who dominated the golden age of Indian cinema.

Kumar, whose real name is Mohammad Yusuf Khan, was born in Peshawar in what is now modern-day Pakistan.

He received the highest acting and civilian honours from both countries during his five decades on screen.
