In full: Gavin Williamson reveals plans to reopen schools

Gavin Williamson, the Education Secretary, is expected to set out the Government’s plans during a Commons speech from midday today. He is also expected to host the first press briefing since Downing Street dropped the daily sessions.

But teachers have complained they are being left in the dark and are threatening to rebel against measures such as fining parents who do not allow their children to return.
