How some businesses have experienced a boom despite the coronavirus pandemic | ABC News

The economic outlook for Australia is looking grim against the backdrop of the coronavirus pandemic.

The Reserve Bank says we’re heading for a recession with the economy to shrink by 10 per cent by July.

Almost 1 million Australians have lost their jobs during the outbreak with accommodation, food services, arts and recreation sectors hardest hit.

But some businesses have been able to take advantage of the dramatic change to our way of life, with the rare shift providing opportunities that wouldn’t have existed just six months ago.
