South China Morning Post published this video item, entitled “Hospital chaplains offer comfort to coronavirus patients as US cases surge” – below is their description.
As the US grapples with a surge in coronavirus cases nationwide, hospital chaplains are on the front line ministering to patients caught in the pandemic. The chaplains offer comfort to Covid-19 patients and their families through video calls when relatives cannot visit their loved ones.
Kevin Deegan and Anne Dauchy are among a team of chaplains working at the Providence Holy Cross Medical Center in Los Angeles. Last week, around a dozen of the hospital’s patients passed away in a single day.
