Three giant pandas were seen enjoying themselves after snow shrouded the Qinling Giant Panda Research Center in Xi’an City. The male panda Qiao Qiao was munching on bamboo shoots while sitting cozily on the snow-covered ground. After a square meal, he started “working out” in the snow, walking around and rubbing against the trees from time to time to place markers. Lou Sheng, the first artificially bred giant panda at the Qinling center, also got excited over the snowfall. The frisky and playful creature was seen rolling around, climbing trees and scratching her own back. In contrast, Qi Zai, a unique brown-and-white panda, appeared to be quiet as he took a nap in freshly fallen snow.
