Family-run publishers providing a lifeline for regional newspapers across the country | ABC News

While regional newspapers across the country are closing at a rapid rate, some small family-run publishers are finding ways to survive – and even expand – during the pandemic.

The Horsham Times, in western Victoria, published its first issue last week, and its owner believes the community-run business model could be the way forward for Australia’s regional press.
