Legendary Canadian actress Tantoo Cardinal joins The Morning Show and shares her emotional journey embodying a character in Martin Scorsese’s new film “Killers of the Flower Moon” starring Leonardo DiCaprio and Robert De Niro.
“My hope for the film is that the world is seeing this film now because Scorsese made it and that there will be some impact inside and that there might be some more openness to our (Indigenous) stories. It’s very difficult to get audiences to really look at our stories.”
Cardinal also reflects on changes in Indigenous representation and what it means to be inducted into Canada’s Walk of Fame.
