Sky News published this video item, entitled “‘Explosive’ weather system causes chaos in California and Arizona” – below is their description.
California has been battered again by severe weather in what has been a winter of weather woes for the Golden State.
Wind, rain and even a tornado struck the state, downing trees and power lines.
At least five people are reported to have been killed by the storm.
Scientists say this winter’s disruptive weather has been caused by a succession of “atmospheric rivers” pulling in water vapour over the state. That has led to heavy rain and even snow.
