A man blew himself up outside a police station in Astana Anyar, Bandung on Indonesia’s main island of Java on December 7, in what appeared to be the latest in a string of suicide attacks in the world’s most populous Muslim nation.
He tried to enter the police station with a motorcycle and detonated explosives where police were waiting for their morning assembly, injuring at least three officers, said the police chief.
Police are still investigating the attack and whether the man, who has not been identified, had links to radical groups.
