Because of global lockdowns, greenhouse gas emissions will fall by 15 percent to 25 percent this year. She noted that while climate change is a big issue, there are many practical actions that countries are taking to reduce carbon emissions and mitigate climate change. She added that it is the United Nations, as the main multilateral platform, making the establishment of sustainable development goals possible.
