Ex-Google CEO Eric Schmidt Shocked Face Masks Not Mandatory

Ex-Google CEO Eric Schmidt said he is shocked that face masks aren’t mandatory, speaking with Bloomberg’s David Rubenstein he said, “wearing a mask is the easiest way to say ‘I care about humans.'”

He said the main argument for face masks is that they protect not just the people directly wearing them, but also others around them.

Schmidt then referenced a study that testing 1% of the population, done in a statistically correct way, could be the way to get enough information to alert officials on potential outbreaks.
