Drone footage captures hellish scenes above La Palma volcano eruption

Daily Mail published this video item, entitled “Drone footage captures hellish scenes above La Palma volcano eruption” – below is their description.

La Palma’s volcano has entered a ‘new phase’ with more ash and smoke belching from the ground and clumps of lava being thrown up to 1,300ft in the air as the force of the eruption intensifies. Observers said the force peaked overnight Tuesday amidst a burst of seismic activity that caused part of the volcano crater to collapse. Meanwhile, scientists admitted that lava flowing from the fissure might never reach the ocean and could instead pool up and spread out on land – destroying more homes and farmland. Some 320 houses have already been swallowed by the lava with 370 acres torched.
