Dominic Raab also touched on the Irish election saying ‘Leo Varadkar is in the midst of a very competitive election. I’m not going to interfere in Irish politics and I suggest he wants to refrain from doing the same’
The foreign secretary also said that Michel Barnier is wrong when he says there will be boarder checks as long as ‘the EU lives up to its commitments’.
