The brother of George Floyd, a Black American man who died as former police officer Derek Chauvin put his knee on his neck has testified on the 11th day of his trial.
Philonise Floyd cried as he described his older brother George as a family man who loved his siblings and was especially close to his late mother.
But as a police officer shot another unarmed Black man dead in the same state, Chauvin’s lawyer asked the judge to isolate the jury but the judge denied the request.
