Among those to speaking out in support of Democratic Party U.S. presidential nominee Joe Biden and his running mate, Kamala Harris, on day four of the Democratic National Convention were four of his former competitors in the nomination race.
Andrew Yang, Pete Buttigieg, Sen. Cory Booker and Mike Bloomberg all touted Biden as the candidate to set America on the path to recovery following the novel coronavirus pandemic.
Atlanta Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms, meanwhile, said her city is will be ready for election day in November and encouraged people to “vote early” to ensure their votes are counted.
Biden entered the final leg of his presidential campaign on Thursday when he formally accepted the Democratic Party nomination.
