A couple in New York got married on the street after their registry office closed its doors – and a celebrant conducted proceedings leaning out of a fourth-floor window.

When the registry office closed they thought they would have to postpone but friend Matty Wilson said he was ordained to conduct the ceremony – and 90 minutes later they turned up outside his flat.
