Couple dress up in astronaut suits to protect themselves from coronavirus pandemic

A Brazilian couple have come up with a novel way of protecting themselves against coronavirus.

Tercio Galdino and Aliceia Lima, who are both in their 60s, were afraid of contracting the virus.

Tercio, who has pulmonary difficulties, suggested the ingenious method of protection to his wife, who hesitantly agreed.

The duo wear the space suits everywhere they go, including the beach.
As well as keeping themselves and others safe, the suits have been a hit with people down at Copacabana.

After being fed up with not being able to go outside, Tercio bought the space suits and made the helmets himself.
