Cockpit voice recorder recovered from crashed Indonesian jet | The World

ABC News (Australia) published this video item, entitled “Cockpit voice recorder recovered from crashed Indonesian jet | The World” – below is their description.

The families of passengers, who perished when an Indonesian passenger jet crash earlier this year, could finally get answers to what actually happened – after navy divers recovered the cockpit voice recorder.

The Sriwijaya air plane crashed in the java sea in January, killing all 62 people on board.

Officials are saying it could take up to a week to listen to the recording, but they’re hoping it will shed more light into the accident.

Yvonne Yong reports.
