CGTN published this video item, entitled “Chinese researchers develop superconducting magnet for MRI system” – below is their description.
For more:
Chinese researchers have successfully developed a superconducting magnet for the world-leading magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) system, making China the first Asian country to possess the technology. Compared with regular 1.5T and 3.0T MRI systems generally used in hospitals, the 9.4T whole-body MRI system is able to produce images at a higher signal to noise and resolution ratio, and is faster in image formation, according to the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS).
