When the world’s top football event in Qatar draws unparalleled attention from millions of fans to the “Big Golden Bowl” stadium, fleets of electric stadium buses also illuminate the middle-eastern country’s streets. The E-buses are providing shuttle services for officials, media and fans. It’s the first time that new-energy buses are used as the main transport service in a top global sporting event. And those 888 Chinese-made electric buses came from Yutong, China’s leading producer of commercial vehicles. CGTN’s Huang Yichang visited its manufacturing plant in central China’s Henan Province to find out more.
