Al Jazeera English published this video item, entitled “Chinese gov’t cracks down on frozen food, says virus traces found” – below is their description.
Chinese officials have announced that all frozen items from abroad must now be disinfected after they said traces of the coronavirus were discovered on products from nearly two dozen countries.
But many of China’s trading partners have dismissed these claims saying the restrictions were tantamount to putting up unfair trade barriers.
International health experts say it is unlikely that anyone can contract COVID-19 through touching contaminated frozen food.
