#China’s Permanent Mission to the United Nations has strongly opposed a side event on human rights in the #Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. The meeting, led by the U.S., Britain and Germany, criticized China over its handling of Uygur minority issues. The allegations, including human rights abuse in Xinjiang, have been repeatedly denied by Beijing.
