    ASEAN diplomats are in China’s southwestern city of Chongqing to mark the 30th anniversary of China-ASEAN dialogue. Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi hosted a special meeting with diplomats from the 10 ASEAN member countries. A separate conference on Lancang-Mekong River Cooperation will also be held, with China, Myanmar, Thailand, Laos, Cambodia and Vietnam in attendance. China’s Lancang River flows downstream into the Mekong, which runs through the five Southeast Asian nations.
