People across the UK sang happy birthday to Capt Tom Moore as they stepped out to clap for the NHS, carers and key workers in a weekly moment of appreciation at 8pm on Thursday 30 April during the coronavirus outbreak in the UK. Capt Moore’s family and the prime minister also joined the weekly clap and cheered the veteran who has raised £30m for NHS charities
