Boris Johnson ‘appalled’ by the ‘inexcusable’ killing of George Floyd

Prime Minister Boris Johnson has said the death of George Floyd was “appalling” and “inexcusable”, adding he he agrees people have a right to protest, but protests should be peaceful.

Labour leader Sir Keir Starmer expressed his “shock and anger” at the killing of George Floyd. He also asked the prime minister to tell President trump of the UK’s unhappiness at the situation.
